5 TV Romances We Just Couldn't Understand (& 5 We Completely Bought)

Gilmore Girls was pretty good at romantic pairings. We had Lane and Zack, Rory and Jess, Rory and Logan, heck, even Rory and Dean. Plus, special mention goes to Emily and Richard of course.

However, it was Luke and Lorelai that really stole the show. Lorelai the independent quirky nut and Luke the uptight healthy (ish) moody blue-collar coffee shop owner who was also Lorelai's complete opposite.

Viewers noticed the chemistry from the start but it would be a long wait before anything happened. Then, when something finally did, it was taken from us just as fast it had come around.

Admittedly, the show's writers milked it a bit when it came to getting them back together but when it did happen it was exactly how we imagined, if not better.
