5 Ways To Cure Your Game Of Thrones Hangover

3. Read The Books

Game9

Two years ago this would be higher on the list. But surely after (Season 1 Spoiler) seeing Sean Bean killed off so unexpectedly, most viewers flocked to their local Waterstone's and threw their cash at the books. And then there's the portion of the audience that already knew the books before the show. I'm not one of them. I haven't read the books yet. Each year the same war gets waged in my head, I fear reading the books, because I love the show. Because it's such a triumph of television making, and I know that if I've read the books I will become the man who complains about the changes. And the show will be ruined for me. But then on the flip side, I've heard the books are even better than the show! Of course, once you've finished A Dance with Dragons, you're screwed because a new one only comes out once every fifty six years.
