6 Best Supporting Characters In Archer

3. Lucas Troy

Arch6Best Quote: I'm sorry for everything... the uranium, killing my fellow agents, that hobo I set on fire after paying him to get his teeth drilled to match my dental records. Archer's only real friend, Lucas Troy is a womanizing, hard partying agent who crossed over to join their rival company ODIN after completed ISIS training. He appears in the episode The Wind Cries Mary, as we learn that he is presumed dead after stealing uranium and killing his fellow ODIN agents. Archer doesn't believe that Lucas is dead or that he is responsible for the crimes he is accused of and is seemingly justified in his belief when he receives a call from his old friend. Thrilled to hear from him, Archer loads up a car with booze and drives to meet him; closely followed by his ISIS colleagues. We are shown various flashbacks of the times Lucas and Archer spent together during training which everyone twists to make gay jokes about the pair. While Archer vehemently denies this, in a humorous turn of events it is revealed that Lucas is indeed in love with him. When Lana and Cyril arrive they trip a perimeter system causing Lucas to roofie Archer so that he can deal with them and leave them free to live together in the Bed & Breakfast he has purchased. Sadly for Lucas things do not go well and he is crushed beneath a tree. This is not before we have come to love the character voiced by Timothy Olyphant of Deadwood and Justified fame. There is an element of sadness felt at the end as Archer says goodbye to his only friend but this is of course undercut by a shocking revelation from Lucas relating to a drunken night years ago involving a big bottle of suntan oil and some Al Green.
