4. The Hunger Games
The dystopian nightmare scenario of The Hunger Games might still be playing out in the cinema, but it's also a perfect candidate to be made in to a TV series. The first film alone saw a number of considerable plot issues dropped from the book due to pacing issues and the sheer length that they would add on to the film - something that could be remedied with a TV show, where the intricate nuances of the Capitol and those suffering in the Districts could be explored. Depending on who the TV show would be aimed it, the show could also prove to be a whole lot more kick-ass than the films proved to be. Obviously to meet censor guidelines, there was a lot that could not be shown in the film, but with the levels of gore seen in shows like
The Walking Dead, it might not be as much of a problem for a late-night TV audience. Plus, it might mean a whole lot more Jennifer Lawrence on our screens, and that can never be a bad thing.
