3. Miss Congeniality
Hear me out on this one; while it's far removed from the others on this list, Miss Congeniality could fit in as a perfect action-comedy TV show revolving around the lead character Gracie Hart. Sandra Bullock stated about the movies that she didn't want it to simply be another romantic comedy film, so that could give it the leg up on the numerous guy/girl comedy TV shows that seem to be dominating the airwaves at the moment. What would also work in the favour of the show translating to TV is that there's already a well established supporting cast; ditzy Miss America Cheryl, flamboyant host Stan, tough-nut agent Fuller - the list could go on. There would no doubt be laughs a plenty, but at the same time we all know that Gracie can throw a mean right hook when she needs to. With the ability to focus both on her life as a minor celebrity and as an FBI agent, this could be a show that appeals to all audiences when it needed to.
