6 Reasons Breaking Bad Could Only Have Worked As A TV Show

5. Breaking Bad - The Video Game

Out of all mediums, this one has the potential to most accurately reflect the events of the show, at least in terms of the supporting cast. With the gaming world's immersive environments, you can see a player having the option of controlling Jesse, Hank, or Mike. The female contingent wouldn't fare so well in these circumstances though, a definite drawback.

In this version Walt would be the enigma he's shown as onscreen. With his fluctuating motivations he's too complex to be simply piloted via console. But he'd work well as a figure everyone else circles around, never quite knowing what he's going to do next.

Ultimately however the intimate moments of the drama will go by the wayside, programmers concentrating on dynamic forward momentum to keep their audience in the zone. An interesting take on the idea, but a dude-centric, streamlined one also.
