2. Ted Is Even Whinier Than Ross
Ted Mosby must be one of the whiniest TV lead characters/narrators ever. Whether its about that cruel mistress, destiny, or his friends, or his boss, or the internet, or whatever girl hes got his eyes on now you get the idea. Whatever its about, he is very focused on the negative, needing everyone to help him out and finding The One right now! It is undeniable that Ross is Friends comparative whiny guy. However, Friends wins here because Ross is not the main character. He is one of a group of six who are all exactly the same in levels of importance to the show, and they all get their turn at equal plotlines. Even How I Met Your Mothers title is in Teds voice, but he has made us rapidly stop caring about when he met any woman as it has become much more fun to just follow the other four characters, which has led to a lack of drive in the show.
