6 Things New To Netflix This Week (Jan 18)

4. Pablo Escabar: El Patron Del Mal - Season 1

Netflix doesn't often pick up TV shows from Columbia, but when it does, they're usually about drugs. Pablo Escobar, El Patron Del Mal (The Drug Lord) was a bad guy, a seriously bad guy. The King of Cocaine at one time supplied the United States with 80% of its cocaine, and would do anything to protect his empire. He murdered, amongst others, the father of the production company's Vice President back in 1986, while the uncle of the series was executed in 1989. With a level of personal investment like that, surely it's worth your time. If you need more convincing, it's shot in over 450 locations, uses a cast of over 1,300 actors and boasts 74 episodes. Prepare yourself for a bit of reading as it's a native show, with English subtitles. Pablo Escobar: El Patron Del Mal, will open your eyes to the drugs world and is the perfect follow-up to Narcos. Watch it now.
