6 Ups & 0 Downs From Doctor Who Series 12 - Ascension Of The Cybermen

2. Our Companions Are Actually Vulnerable

It's still not 100% known as to whether Bradley Walsh, Mandip Gill, and Tosin Cole are returning to Doctor Who for Series 13. Jodie Whittaker is confirmed to be returning, but as for our trio, we're not so sure. As already mentioned, Humans and Cybermen don't mix. Well, technically they mix rather well, and that's exactly the problem. Our human companions are in danger, and it's not unknown for companions to be lost due to conversion, cue Bill Potts.

With Graham and Yaz trapped on a Cybership, swarming with Cyber Warriors, and Ryan at the Doctor's side, awaiting to face whatever is on the other side of the boundary, it's still up in the air as to who will or won't return. Knowing an actor will be leaving a role before it happens in-universe can dilute the usually emotional farewell we expect, but because we know nothing, Graham kicking the bucket for example, could be a hefty emotional kick indeed.

Also the go-to for Doctor Who, and could tell you why Sans Serif fonts are better than most. Still occasionally tap dances under the desk.
