6. The Simpsons: Marge Shot Mr. Burns
Here's an interesting one,
this theory claims that the one who shot Mr. Burns was Marge Simpson and not Maggie, as explained by the episode. As impossible as this theory may sound, it makes a little sense when you remember that was a policewoman for a while, she despised him as much as everyone else and that she had really strong motives to kill him, especially considering that he was trying to steal a candy from her baby daughter. So why didn't he tell the police that she did it? Well here's when things start to get interesting. You might remember that a few seasons before he fell in love with Marge, to the point in which he gave her a really considerable raise. This theory proposes that he still had feelings for her, so he decided to accuse the little baby knowing that the police wouldn't be able to arrest her. While I really like this theory and I want it to be true I don't think it would hold up pretty well. Despite that Marge has proven to be a violent woman when she's threatened I don't think she has the guts to kill Mr. Burns. Besides a few years ago Homer admitted to be the one who shot Mr. Burns, so it pretty much debunks this theory.
