6. Bug-Eyed Bandit
It's incredibly unusual for either Arrow or The Flash to introduce a female character - particularly one who is blonde and brainy - without making her a love interest or at least flirty distraction for a main character. However, Brie Larvan (AKA Bug-Eyed Bandit) was too weird even for Cisco. Apart from making Bertram into Brie, the Bug-Eyed Bandit of TV's Flash follows the comic incarnation pretty closely. Both are inventors with a fondness for insects and an unfortunate tendency to build themselves tiny armies of robotic bugs (though Brie focuses exclusively on bees). Brie makes a nice change for the show as a villain unconnected to the particle accelerator explosion. She also makes a nice change by being completely unaware of her own ridiculousness and dropping bee puns at every given opportunity. HER LAST NAME IS LITERALLY A PLAY ON LARVAE.
