7 Craziest Villains In The Flash (So Far)

5. Girder

Is there any greater fan-service than having the (nerdy) hero's childhood (jock) bully come back and get straight-up killed, while the rest of the villains are merely imprisoned? Not that fan-service is necessarily a bad thing, of course. And as far as fan-service goes, Girder (or Tony Woodward to his jock friends) is so much fun. Not content with merely having the bully be physically strong and improbably muscular, his superpower is the ability to literally turn into girded steel. That's some A+ jock commentary from the writers. In an adorably 2015 twist on the classic DC character, the show also had Girder ask Iris to blog about him. At least someone finally respected her skills as a journalist, even if it was the creepy sadist who'd kidnapped her and held her against her will.
