7 Game Of Thrones Relationships We're Still Waiting For

6. Sansa And The Hound

Over the course of the show, one could argue that there are no other characters who have evolved as much as these two. Sansa has grown from a spoiled, immature princess into a level-headed, strong young woman who won't be manipulated by anyone, and the Hound went from being the big, dumb right arm of the Lannisters into a more introspective character who seems to have chosen to align himself with good (or at the very least, neutral) rather than the sadistic nature of his former employers.

Back in King's Landing, Sandor Clegane had a soft spot for Sansa and did his level best to protect her from the most violent excesses of King Joffrey's tantrums. Did he do this out of inherent goodness, or because he kinda sorta liked her? As for Sansa, it's possible that with all the political machinations that have surrounded her since she was a child, that she might find comfort in someone who plays exactly zero games and minces no words.

And wouldn't it be interesting to see Sansa, who as a girl always imagined that she would grow up to marry a handsome prince or gallant knight, end up falling in love with an objectively not very attractive older man who's just kind of doing his best?

Chances of this happening: Honestly? Not great. Who knows if they'll ever even be in the same room again together?
