7 Game Of Thrones Characters Who Have Seemingly Disappeared

4. Jaqen H'ghar

Last Seen: Jaqen H'ghar was last seen aiding Arya's escape from Harrenhal. Surprisingly calm in the face of danger, it is discovered that H'ghar is actually a member of 'The Faceless Men' - a secret order of assassins from Braavos with the ability to change their face at will. The character's final moments saw him change his face, dispatching of his old persona and assuming a new identity. He then gives Arya a coin and tells her that if she ever finds herself in Braavos, to give it to a Braavosi and say the words "Valar Morghulis". Looking Forward: Had it not been for that last comment, you could be forgiven for thinking that that was the end of our Faceless Man. After all, he'd served a purpose breaking Arya out of Harenhal and their goodbye could have been that. Job done. Letting Arya know where to find him again and going through the whole process of changing his face suggests that H'ghar might have more of a role to play as Braavos (now recently a location in the titles) is being dragged into the battle for Westeros. Whilst Arya seems highly unlikely to be visiting the Free Cities anytime soon, an interaction with Ser Davos and Stannis as they align themselves with the Iron Bank could be on the cards.
