He's forged a career by making some terrifying appearances in horror films such as REC and Mama (where he played a nightmarish female figure in each). If you've seen the test footage of him in Mama, you'll agree it's far more frightening than the actual movie itself. The on-screen presentation of his titular character was muddled with so much unimpressive CGI that it detracted from the scariness seen in the test footage.
