7 Reasons Why You Should Watch One-Punch Man

1. The Fight Scenes

One Punch Man
Madhouse

As any respectable superhero anime - even though it has a primarily comedic tone - the show is filled with impressive fight scenes. This applies even to those in which the titular One-Punch Man participates. Despite their outcomes being easy to predict, they are made in an impressive, sometimes breathtaking way.

Speed-O'-Sound Sonic cutting open the heads of his enemies or Saitama going through mole men with ease are well presented multi-opponent fights, but it's the "boss fights" that really take the cake here. There's really no point in enumerating them, since the opponents and their fighting styles are as diverse as their origin stories.

Watching the villains get angrier and angrier, mutating to scarier appearances only to be taken down by an unimpressed Saitama, are entertaining in their own right. Especially the way their bodies fall apart once they are beaten with just one punch.

Of special notice is the final fight of the series, taking place over the span of three episodes, yet not boring nor uninspired in any regard. The show might be funny, but the animation is no laughing matter.
