Why You Should Watch It It's about zombies. And guns. Why the hell aren't you watching it? On the surface, The Walking Dead is as straight forward as that, but lurking underneath lies something more. At its core The Walking Dead has nothing to do with zombies. Obviously, the show is centered about the brain eating crawlers, but if you see it as just that - you are missing out on one of the best drama's of the last decade. The Walking Dead is gettting better and better and if you missed it the first time or grew bored with the second season, it's about time you jumped back on. Why She'll Love It The Walking Dead works because it isn't afraid to deal with gut wrenching themes. It's a tale of human survival at its very lowest. Season one is only six episodes long but it's impossible not to feel for the characters. Rick and Lori are a perfect example of a dysfunctional couple battling for a second chance.
