7 Ways AMC Should End The Walking Dead

1. Fear The Walking Dead Replaces It

Although this entire article has been about how AMC should end The Walking Dead, the reality is they're going to keep milking it for as long as they possibly can. However, there is one way that they can give the original story a proper send off without throwing the towel in entirely: folding it into Fear The Walking Dead.

That show has already gained arguably TWD's best actor in Lennie James, and now that it's killed off its two main characters, there's space either for main series actors to jump across or the remaining Fear cast to make their way over the other show once Rick and the rest have moved on.

Likewise, while it's been hit and miss, Fear has shown the ability to exceed the quality of its sister programme, with the two sharing more DNA than ever now Scott Gimple is an executive producer.

AMC have hinted that their aim is to create a Walking Dead universe, and while that might mean the brand may never die, an expansion would allow what we know as the main show to wrap up neatly without the series itself being brought to a total halt.
