8 Ways Better Call Saul Can Bring Breaking Bad Characters Back

4/3. Kuby And Huell

The two halves of Saul€™s so-called €œA-Team€, Patrick Kuby and Huell Babineaux are the definition of an odd couple. Whereas Kuby is wry, sardonic, and reasonably able to follow instructions - the Ted Beneke incident aside (sorry Ted) - Huell is more your stereotypical, if slightly inept, brawn (though surprisingly deft of hand - sorry, Jesse). Nevertheless, they were apparently competent enough to be entrusted with the delivery of Walt€™s millions. Both Kuby and Huell first appeared on Breaking Bad in Season 4 within a few episodes of each other - Kuby as a plant for Skylar, Huell as a bodyguard for Saul - before which they were where, what? Vince Gilligan€™s Albuquerque certainly isn€™t lacking in low-rent goons, but it€™s not like there€™s a recruitment agency for them - at least not till Saul finishes setting up shop. All that's known about Kuby is that he comes from Boston; Huell, not even that. Based on their personalities, however, it seems that both Kuby and Huell are career criminals, of a sort, and not exactly ones to stay out of trouble. Despite his background, Kuby might well be acquainted with the New Mexico court system - that scheme against Bogdan suggests some experience as a con man - while Huell could conceivably just bumped into Jimmy in the line at Subway. You€™ve got to hope they do safe house delivery - sorry, Huell.
