Oh MTV, what happened to you? I remember when you actually played music, and had shows like Celebrity Death Match and the VMAs were still entertaining. I supposed all good things must come to an end, and Buckwild helped us all face that grim reality. It's about a bunch of teens from West Virginia that do every sport or activity that stereotypical country people like to do. They also swear so much they make sailors blush, and talk about the wonders of "hillbilly heroin".

This show may not have been doomed to fail in the ratings sense, but it was only a matter of time before death came knocking for one of the cast members. Shain Gandee tragically passed away from carbon monoxide poisoning on April 1, 2013. I say these kids were doomed to fail, not necessarily the show. When 2 cast members are arrested for drug possession, and weeks later another dies? Nothing good can come from a show like that.
