8 Better TV Series That Were Secretly Hidden In Shows
2. The Early Days Of Luke Skywalker's Jedi Academy - The Book Of Boba Fett
In all honesty, there was likely actually two far superior shows hiding within Disney+'s most disappointing live-action Star Wars entry to date.
But away from the outstanding Chapter Five: Return of the Mandalorian deviation that acted as The Book of Boba Fett's finest hour, and a Din Djarin detour some would've preferred to have stuck with instead of the many Tusken flashbacks and biker gang shenanigans, the Beskar-sporting badass' quest to deliver a gift to his little pal Grogu actually planted another much more fascinating seed that fans would no doubt enjoy watching grow in its own live-action corner on Disney+.
With Mando's trip to The Child giving folks the first look at Luke Skywalker's eventual Jedi Academy literally and figuratively starting to take shape, it did feel as though Lucasfilm were testing the waters somewhat to see how fans would react to their latest attempt at digitally de-ageing Mark Hamill's iconic master.
And after the largely positive response to Luke's lessons with Grogu on the forest world, reported talk of the legendary Jedi now possibly getting his own series shouldn't come as too much of a surprise at this point.
So, if that does end up being the case, here's hoping Disney and Lucasfilm actually conjure up enough storyline meat to justify an entire show being dedicated to this breakthrough in technology, eh?
