8 Most Bizarrely Ridiculous Cameos In TV History

1. Quentin Tarantino €“ Margaret Cho's All-American Girl (1995)

During the early '90s famed director Quentin Tarantino still had the acting bug. He would appear in numerous TV shows and movies over the years, but none of them were quite as surreal as his appearance in the mostly forgotten All-American Girl playing a guy who sells bootleg movies to unsuspecting store owners. Margaret Cho's All-American Girl didn't last very long so you'll be forgiven if you never heard of it. In the episode titled "Pulp Sitcom" we see QT spoofing his hit film at the time, Pulp Fiction. Tarantino walks around with a briefcase with a warm golden glow. He takes a girl on a date at a 1950s-themed restaurant staffed by lookalikes of the decade's pop icons, and even does the twist on the dance floor. While a certain amount of nostalgia will wash over you as you watch this episode (which you can watch on YouTube if you wish) we're glad that QT never put his acting career before his directing one. I mean, there's only so much bad dancing a man can take. What other TV cameos do you feel were just too bizarre for words? Sound off in the comments section below.
