Do you ever feel overwhelmed at work? Insecure about your abilities? Worried that you cant handle the pressure of the position and that one day somebodys going to notice that you dont belong? You need Karl. After Homers new hair got him a promotion at the power plant, Karl became his assistant and started moulding him into a confident executive worthy of the position. He found Homer a suit that made him feel like a prince, he took care of Marges anniversary present, and when Smithers found out about Homers insurance fraud, he even took the fall for his boss, costing him $1000 and his job. Why? Because it was what he was born to do. Even after being fired he still made sure to write Homers big speech for him (with the big words spelled out fo-NET-ik-lee). But despite all this Karls true brilliance comes not in his competence or his loyalty, but in his ability to imbue confidence in another person. When Karl tells you to repeat that you are 'nature's greatest miracle', you do so because in that moment you truly believe it. He is half assistant, half life-coach and 100% beneficial to your existence.
