8 Fantasy TV Cross-Overs We Need To See

5. Adrian Monk (Monk) Moves In With Sheldon Cooper (The Big Bang Theory)

Monk-+-Sheldon

Sheldon Cooper and Adrian Monk. What if they met? What if they had to live together? It would probably be the most heart warmingly tragic and hilarious 30 minutes of television ever made. In one sense, they would work perfectly. Cleanliness. Routine. Scheduled toilet breaks. Housemate agreements and no need to consider the social niceties. I can see a great bonding moment between these two. A sense of order in the world that no one else can understand. The trouble is, if one person's routine conflicted with another, all hell would break loose. Together they would never survive. Shared traits would only get them so far. What would happen when they both found themselves needing to be driven to work by the other? Now Adrian Monk is a former detective and he could use his friends at the police force if things went awry. But you see, Monk has a soft heart. He would be hesitant to force Sheldon Cooper to do anything he didn't want. Cooper on the other hand. He would be ruthlessly evil. Using his superior intellect he will plot Monk's downfall with cunning and guise. And so what starts as a shared support of each other becomes a dangerous game of cat and mouse, with only one victor. And unfortunately, that victor would be Sheldon Cooper.
