The Preacher With seemingly every popular series of books being optioned by Hollywood, many readers will have had some of their favourite literary works either faithfully adapted or ceremoniously ruined by their big screen counterparts (unfortunately the latter opinion seems to be the most common). On the small screen however, a number of recent shows have provided quality entertainment whilst staying true to the elements of their source materials that made readers fall in love in the first place.
