8 Incredible Things Tom Baker Has Done Since Doctor Who
7. Helping To Save Narnia
Chalking up yet more cool points with fantasy fans, Tom Baker starred in the 1990 production of The Silver Chair as Puddleglum the Marshwiggle. This installment of C S Lewis's Chronicles of Narnia saw Tom's character helping two human children from Earth fulfill their mission to find the missing son of King Caspian. Tom won the hearts of countless children again with his marvelous portrayal of the gloomy web-footed marsh inhabitant. Tom's star turn isn't the only connection between the worlds of Doctor Who and The Silver Chair, though. Bernard Cribbins, better known to NuWho fans as Wilf, also played Puddleglum in a BBC radio adaptation - a coincidence that only serves to reinforce the notion that all things link to Doctor Who.
