8 Lost Doctor Who Episodes That Should Be Animated Next
4. The Daleks' Master Plan
This 12-episode epic followed the Daleks' ambitious attempt to conquer the galaxy and the Doctor's ingenious methods of out-thinking them. One of the most notable things about this story is that it is the first time the show features a companion's death. Katarina, the handmaiden the Doctor and Steven meet during the Trojan War, sacrifices herself to save the Doctor from the Daleks.
It's also worth mentioning that Nicholas Courtney, who would later go on to play Brigadier Lethbridge-Stewart, makes his first Doctor Who appearance here as Space Security Service Agent Bret Vyon. Only three episodes survive, meaning the missing nine would need to be reanimated. Animating nine episodes is admittedly a large challenge to tackle, but the end result would be more than worth it.
