6. The Tenth Doctor And Rose Are Responsible For The Separation Of The Doctor And Rose

Now for something in-universe. The Doctor and Rose Tyler's separation at the end of 2006's Doomsday was an emotional time for many. But few have made the connection that in reality, it was their own fault they ended up in separate universes after the Battle of Canary Wharf.

The episode Tooth and Claw from earlier that series takes place in Torchwood House in Scotland, where the Doctor and Rose teamed up with Queen Victoria to take on a werewolf. After Her Majesty saw death stare her in the face, she vowed to protect the British people from aliens, including The Doctor, and founded the Torchwood Institute.

Fast-forward a century or so and Torchwood Tower (we know it as Canary Wharf) is attempting to harness energy from a rift in space. Subsequently, they release both the Cybermen and the Daleks upon Earth, The Doctor and Rose save the day, but Rose ends up on a parallel Earth, unable to return. Long story short, if The Doctor and Rose hadn't have managed to drag Queen Victoria into their beef with a werewolf, Torchwood would have never existed, and they'd still be happily gallivanting around the Universe today.

Also the go-to for Doctor Who, and could tell you why Sans Serif fonts are better than most. Still occasionally tap dances under the desk.
