8 Quirky Female TV Characters We Love

4. Liz Lemon - 30 Rock

30 Rock 'Liz Lemon Cool J' is the head writer of a comedy show with enough quirks to make Sheldon Cooper look relatively normal. She's an intriguing 30-something year old single-and-pretending€“to-be-okay-about-it geek with a penchant for stress eating and Star Wars. The key to Liz's unhappiness is food. Whether it's "chocolate, chocolate, chocolate aackk" or pop tarts, deep down all she wants is to be left in peace with a sandwich, just be sure never to touch her Mac n' Cheese or she WILL throw a hissy fit and chuck the table over the room. The quick-witted, socially awkward writer would prefer a guy to buy her mozzarella sticks any day over a drink, while she loves nothing more then when the Muppets present at awards shows and 'sweater weather'. Liz is certainly original. She was once summoned to jury duty she couldn't get out of despite claiming to be Princess Leia and pleading with the judge that her telepathic skills meant she'd have an unfair advantage. Kudos to her for inventing such elabourate lies. Liz is our sassiest, wackiest role model.

Quirky Quotes:

€œWhy are my arms so weak? It€™s like I did that push-up last year for nothing!€
