7. First 9
Along with Sons of Anarchy, Mayans, and Sam Crow, Kurt Sutter has pictured First 9 to be a cornerstone of the SOA franchise. This has been in the works for some time, there have even been rumours in the past of a movie starring Brad Pitt, but there is a very specific idea in the mind of Sutter himself.
Throughout the series, there are several ‘First 9’ patches seen on various cuts. These of course belong to the nine men who established the Sons of Anarchy Motorcycle Club way back when they came home from serving in Vietnam together.
The show would be a four-part mini-series, with Sutter reportedly liking the same model as Sherlock, starting with John Teller and Piney, and ending with Clay joining the fray as the last of the nine. This would tell the story of the creation of the Sons of Anarchy, but wouldn’t go much further into the lore that has already been laid down by the flagship show.
Putting the spotlight on the likes of JT, Piney, McGee, Larry, and of course, Clay would make for one hell of a series, particularly as it would essentially be told over four movie-length episodes.
