Before he died, John Teller lived a double life of sorts. He had his family in California, Gemma, Thomas, and Jax, but he also had his family in Belfast. This was Maureen, Trinity, and his confidant Kellan Ashby. This could be the other side of the coin that is ultimately the story of John Teller’s death.
This could be seen as a similar premise to the Chibs prequel, though this would take place in Belfast long after the now President of SAMCRO left for the USA, and with the SAMBEL charter already fully established.
As the picture was painted in Sons of Anarchy, JT’s Irish family was his second family, but how did they feel about it? What were their lives like throughout such a tough time, and why did JT feel so at home so far from home?
Another direction a Belfast-based spin-off could take would be to revolve it around McGee, O’Neill, and Jimmy O, and detail how they became so corrupt, and what led them to betray Clay and Jax. With either story, there would be a chance to return to the other side of the world and at the very least appreciate the sheer beauty of such a place.
