The Prediction: In an episode displaying frankly ridiculous commitment to the cause of satire - which is arguably one of the funniest non-Sir Patrick Stewart episodes - Maggie manages not only to offend a prospective boyfriend with her beloved gollywog doll, but also confuses Samuel L Jackson with Laurence Fishburne.

In Real Life: Somewhat unthinkably, a presenter on KTLA 5 faced the infernal wrath of Jackson when he did exactly the same thing live on air. Swiftly rebuked by a clearly furious Jackson - who remained remarkably cool, despite the slur - the presenter shrivelled horribly on screen, in a manner that would have fit the cringe-inducing comedy of Extras to a tee.
