Carolyn Pickles - pictured above alongside one of last year's Doctor Who guest stars, Jonathan Bailey, but more on him next - is returning for Broadchurch's second series in her role as local reporter Maggie Radcliffe. Best known for her role as Shelly Williams in another popular ITV series, Emmerdale, Carolyn has also left her mark on the Doctor Who universe in the form of an appearance in one of Big Finish's audio adventures.
