6. They Are Marvel Comics Royalty
Although the term Inhumans is reserved for those who possess the Inhuman gene, the name was originally used to refer to the Inhuman Royal Family, who ruled over Attilan. Attilan served as a refuge so Inhumans could live without persecution from humans.
The family is headed by always silent King Black Bolt, who possesses an earth shattering sonic scream. Black Bolt's intelligence eventually landed him a seat in Marvel's Illuminati, a group of super intelligent heroes who work behind the scenes to protect earth. His wife and queen, Medusa, can use her long red hair as prehensile limbs capable tremendous feats of strength due to their dexterity.
Princess Crystal is Queen Medusa's sister and has the power to control all four elements. She is also the first character to be identified as an Inhuman.
Other members include the amphibian Triton, the super strong Gorgon, Karnak who can sense the weakness in anything, and Maximus the Mad. Maximus is Black Bolt's brother and the two share a relationship like Thor and Loki, with Maximus constantly trying to overthrow Black Bolt. That also seems to be the plot of the Inhumans TV Show, which is based on the family.
