5. Moving Day
So you and your beau have decided to take your relationship to the next level by getting your own place together but be warned. If there isn't at least one wall on which your partner can plaster their plethora of Doctor Who posters, this new arrangement isn't going to last very long at all. Like, at all. It's always important to make your new environment feel like home and for a Doctor Who fan, this process involves surrounding themselves with pictures of their beloved hero. And it doesn't just stop at posters, either. From what you've been told about a Doctor Who devotee thus far on this list, it probably won't surprise you to read that they take great pride in their personal collection of show related merchandise. Whether it's action figures, books, DVD or all of the above (and then some), a shrine of Time Lord memorabilia is made up of their most treasured possessions and as such it's ultimately wasted if it isn't taking pride of place within their humble abode. And no, a mere Dalek mini-figure on the mantlepiece will not suffice. Expect this sort of reaction.
