Let's get one thing straight; everything you've heard about Jon Bernthal and Elodie Yung being great is true. The former in particular delivers the kind of work in the first few episodes that could very well see him receive some serious awards attention come the Golden Globes and Emmys. However, despite their costumes being revealed in promo posters, neither The Punisher nor Elektra suits up in the first seven episodes. To at least some extent, the reason for this boils down to how their stories play out over the course of these episodes, but both could have easily shown up wearing the outfits we've seen on those posters from the very start without any need for overly elaborate explanations.
