8 True Blood Characters Who Deserved A Better Ending
2. Lafayette
Lafayette is a character whom most have loved since his AIDs burger tirade way back in season one. He was sassy, trustworthy and faithful, and he treated viewers to many classic lines. Out of all of the characters in the final season, he was the one we wanted to survive the most. Lafayette received his happily ever after in episode six when he and James properly got together. Their relationship was later given its blessing by Jessica. So why werent fans happy come the final parting shot on True Blood? Since he hooked up with James, Lafayette was resigned to the side-lines for most of his scenes, and he didnt even get a speaking line in the finale episode. Surely such a beloved, long-standing character deserved more than that? Even if it was simply something along the lines of pass the carrots Arlene. Anything would have been better than nothing. His story did peak in episode six, but why not have stretched it out a little longer so that he had something to do in the final episode? Surely someone from James past could have turned up to throw a spanner in the works, or Lafayette could have received a final vision of Jesus to give him his blessing. Literally anything would have served his character better than what he receive in the final episode.
