8 True Blood Characters Who Deserved A Better Ending

1. Tara

Tara€™s ending is perhaps the worst of the lot. She went through a phenomenal journey from abused child to tortured adult to warring vampire and how did it all end for her? Dying, off-screen, moments after finally reuniting with her mother. The entirety of Tara€™s character development was ruined in this moment. Certainly a better story would have been for Lettie Mae to have died. This would have allowed Tara to feel guilt and try and avenge her death. Tara€™s final scene in which she told her mother to move on and stop feeling guilty was bittersweet but Tara deserved more. Admittedly so did Rutina Wesley, who played the spunky vampire. After six years on the show she wasn€™t even given a death scene, and then for her next few appearances she was strung up on a cross speaking utter garbage. But what annoyed us most about Tara€™s untimely demise was that it didn€™t allow for her to reunite with Sookie and Lafayette. These three were inseparable from the onset, but their relationship soured once Tara was nearly murdered and then turned by Pam. Towards the end of season five Tara showed some acceptance of her new state, an she even hugged Sookie at the end of season six, but the fans were never given a proper €œlet€™s be friends again€ moment. Even if Sookie and Lafayette had one last moment with her ghost, that would have been enough. What do you think of our choices? Did any other characters deserve a better ending than they received?
