8 TV Character Changes That Worked Perfectly

7. 24 - Chloe O'Brian

The Walking Dead Carol
Fox

Much like Andy Bernard, Chloe wasn't in the show from the very beginning. However the character does hold second place for the most episode appearances on the show, so let's pretend she is one of "the originals".

When Chloe debuted in Day 3 she was an almost caricature of the atypical, quirky office dweller who alienated her coworkers and displayed obscure traits that, in a show about fighting terrorism through dramatic torture methods, were almost comedic.

It was in Day 5 that a human side to Chloe was shown, as it was revealed she had something of a wild side to her. She had affairs with her coworkers, made jokes at times, and even had an ex-husband who in the real world she would never, ever, in a million years match with her on any dating site today.

Chloe had become Jack's partner in his ventures, but more than that she became his friend. Sticking with him through even the darkest moments of the show, Chloe grew into a mature leader of CTU and eventually the second-lead of a show that she joined two seasons late.

I overthink a lot of things. Will talk about pretty much anything for a great length of time. I'm obsessed with General Slocum from the 2002 Spider-Man film. I have questions that were never answered in that entire trilogy!
