8 TV Reunion Specials We Are Desperate To See
6. Malcolm In The Middle
Malcolm in The Middle was a delicious slice of early 2000s pie, as its arrival at the turn of the century came with all the best vibes of the era. It was irreverent, goofy and witty, but also came with an upbeat grungy aesthetic that helped it strike out with a unique visual style.
The series told the story of the Wilkersons, a dysfunctional family unit led by the uncompromising Lois and the goofy Hal. Our lead character was Malcolm, as he broke the fourth wall to discuss what life was like being the middle child between his elder brother Reese and little sibling Dewey.
Seeing this family return to screens would be a delight, as audiences would love to see how much they've changed. A significant aspect of the show was seeing the kids grow up and figure out what direction they wanted to go in, so the prospect of seeing where life actually took them is mouth-watering.
Plus, there could be a great dynamic with Hal and Lois, as by this time, they'd probably be grandparents, which could bring a whole host of comedy moments. There's even some buzz about the series thanks to WandaVision's parody of it, so there's clearly still some demand for the show.
