8 TV Reunion Specials We Are Desperate To See
4. Frasier
Viewers have been treated to many classic sitcoms like Full House, That 70s Show, and of course Cheers. But, where there are sitcoms, there are also spin-offs, which more often than not feel like flogging a dead horse. However, some come along that are so great they become classic sitcoms themselves, and Frasier is among the best of them.
The Kelsey Grammer-led show followed Dr Frasier Crane, a regular in Cheers, as he moved back to Seattle to live with his father and become a radio psychiatrist. As far as spin-offs go, it doesn't get much better than this, as the series carved out a unique identity, and the leading man went on to be one of the most popular characters in sitcom history. So, why not give the show an extra episode?
While the Goodnight Seattle two-part finale was a masterclass in how to end a series, there's still so much potential to seeing where the characters went in life and how they'd respond to the modern way of living. What are Daphne and Nile's children like? How is Roz doing at KACL? How did Frasier fair in Chicago? These are all nostalgic answers that fans would love to learn.
Thankfully, these questions certainly will be answered, as there is a Frasier reunion/revival in the works, slated for a 2022 release. Hopefully, this should continue this great show's legacy and act as a loving tribute to the late great John Mahoney, otherwise known as Martin Crane.
