8 TV Shows That Just Wouldn't Die

1. Veronica Mars

Veroinca Mars may have launched Kristen Bell's career, but that wasn't enough to keep it on the air. The show's ratings actually went up over the course of its three seasons, but it was cancelled in 2007 by The CW regardless.

Creator Rob Thomas immediately started drawing up plans for a movie, but by 2010 the project looked dead in the water, until Kickstarter took off. That allowed Thomas and Bell to crowdfund the movie, which was eventually released to solid reviews in 2014.

That really seemed to be the end of it, especially with Bell busy on other projects like The Good Place and Disney's Frozen 2, but Hulu have now stepped in for an eight-part revival series which is due to air this year.
