8 Underrated Comic Books That Deserve Their Own TV Show

3. Ms. Marvel

There honestly isn't a more important comic book than Ms. Marvel.

Written by G. Willow Wilson, the adventures of Kamala Khan - a Muslim-American teen gifted with extraordinary abilities - have already proven to be some of Marvel's greatest, with the character even going on to take a place among The Avengers and, perhaps most brilliantly of all, as a symbol of resistance against bigotry in the public eye. Indeed, Wilson's story of Khan's rise to superhero stardom is something all Marvelites should invest in, and is one that most definitely belongs on the small screen as well.

Considering Marvel are currently bringing their A-game to, well, just about everything at the minute, it only makes sense that Kamala nab a prime time spot in the near future. Perhaps not in the Netflix arena, but definitely on a channel of some sort. Either way, it's clear we need more Ms. Marvel in the world. Whatever shapeshifting form that comes in, I'm sure it'll be brilliant.
