9 Famous TV Villains You Didn't Realise Were Complete Morons

7. Irene Adler (Sherlock)

Irene Adler, a manipulative seductress, a dominatrix as it were, who knew what everyone liked and used it to her advantage including one Sherlock Holmes. She managed to use all of her assets to keep Sherlock from deducing her motives and she used his need for interesting puzzles to her advantage. She was a smart seductress but not a smart villain. Her one downfall was that she fell in love with her prey, a high-functioning sociopath with a knack for deductions and an ego the size of Britain. Knowing Sherlock, the way she did I can't figure out why should would bring up Moriarty at just the time she was about to gain all of her demands. She knew that Sherlock loved puzzles and she knew that he liked to show off. Mentioning Moriarty pushed both of these buttons. Given their past history of Moriarty €“ trapping Sherlock in a pool with a bomb and a couple of snipers €“ there was no way in hell that Sherlock was going to let Moriarty win again. Once Sherlock searched his mind palace for a clue and discovered that she had fallen for him, the phone code revealed itself. While the code was cute, she should have did what every fan girl around the world did the morning after and delete it. After all, we're not in high school anymore.
