9 Moments That Prove Sansa Stark Is Game Of Thrones' Unluckiest Character
8. She Wanted To Marry Joffrey
Sansa is brought up believing and revelling in tales of handsome princes, brave knights and beautiful queens. This is the life she is determined to lead, and at the start of the series is the future that lies straight in front of her. With the close friendship between her father and King Robert, it is no real surprise that they make a betrothal between the eldest Stark girl and the heir to the Iron Throne. Sansa is actually the one who pleads with her father to accept the match, being extremely taken with Prince Joffrey and dreaming of living with him in Kings Landing and one day being his queen. Yes, she actually wanted to be with him. And marry him. And have his babies. Because she loved him. Oh Sansa.
NCTJ-qualified journalist. Most definitely not a racing driver. Drink too much tea; eat too much peanut butter; watch too much TV. Sadly only the latter paying off so far.
A mix of wise-old man in a young man's body with a child-like wonder about him and a great otherworldly sensibility.
