9. TARDIS Mug
"Would you care for some tea?" Sure, mugs are somewhat of a generic Christmas gift but there's a reason they're so popular. Who doesn't love a cup of tea - or coffee, if you're that way inclined - to warm up the cockles of their heart on a cold December morning or a bristling winter's evening, and pretty much every intervening hour in between? Tea is also known for its magical ability to solve almost any problem (particularly of the 'first world' variety...), especially if you're a resident of Albert Square, so it's only right that the Doctor should partake in the prosperity too. Drinking tea is as much of a quintessentially British pastime as watching Doctor Who but thanks to this TARDIS mug it can now be enjoyed by the entire universe - and it even comes with a lid to keep your brew warm, too! Not too shabby. Of course what every fan
really wants this Christmas it to receive an invitation to a tea party with the Time Lord himself, but until that day comes, this TARDIS mug is pretty much the next best thing. It has an RRP of £19.99 (you can get it while it's hot for the reduced price of £15 at
Amazon) which is pretty expensive as mugs go but it's definitely worth investing in if you are, or know, an avid tea drinker as it's guaranteed to be an extremely robust addition to any Whovian's kitchen. And let's be honest, drinking tea out of your very own miniature TARDIS makes the whole experience that bit more exhilarating. In fact, as soon as you take your first sip, you'll probably be wondering why you've ever drank it any other way.
