5. Action Figures
The ever growing range of Doctor Who action figures is one of the most popular areas of the show's merchandise because it appeals to fans both young and old - the 'young' being the children who use them to live out their own Doctor Who adventures from the comfort of their bedrooms and the 'old' being the adults who use them to live out their own Doctor Who adventures from the comfort of their bedrooms. As such, you wouldn't have to worry about inflicting disappoint by slipping an action figure or two into the stocking of a fellow fan this season. After all, who wouldn't want a plasticated Paul McGann to help fend off alien intruders or a mini Matt Smith to serve as their desktop defender? It's every Doctor Who fan's dream, really, and they're so small - the latest wave of figures come in at 5 inches tall - you can even fit them in your pocket and carry them around with you everywhere you go. See. You can't go wrong. The figures are relatively cheap, too, going at around £7.99 each, and there's always the extra special edition ones (the Eleventh Doctor with holographic detachable clothes from The Time of the Doctor, for example*) for the more hardcore collectors. Any Doctor Who figure would make for the perfect gift, though, and you can even make it personal, too, by giving them a replica of their very favourite Doctor. Or whichever one is left on the shelf. You
have left it pretty late, after all. * Disclaimer: This product doesn't exist.
