9 Times Danny Dyer Was The Funniest Man Alive

7. When He Laughed At Himself On Buzzcocks

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1gTYOg27558 BBC Two€™s Never Mind The Buzzocks has a notorious reputation for causing its guests to walk out during filming. Preston of The Ordinary Boys, Huey Morgan of Fun Lovin€™ Criminals and Lemmy from Motorhead have all stormed off, and you€™d think Danny Dyer would be a shoo-in for a fourth name on that list. But no, far from taking presenter Simon Amstell€™s inevitable ribbing to heart and unleashing his inner-hardman, our hero reacted with good grace and great humour. For example, when Amstell asked him €œwhy can€™t it be Danny Dyer€™s Kindest Men?€ Dyer replied with €œI don€™t know, babe€, temporarily disarming the quick-witted host. Later, Amstell asked him if he ever felt €œlocked into this cockney urchin character? Do you ever get home and scream €˜I just wanna be a dancer!€™?€ Dyer admitted he€™d actually love to go on Dancing On Ice, much to everyone€™s amusement. Dyer also deflected being asked if he€™d ever presented a show called Mindless Violence, and in perhaps the most Danny Dyer moment of the whole night, told Amstell that there€™s €œnowt wrong with psychopaths, they€™re good people€.
