1. Coupling
The first and only UK TV series to make the list. Coupling was an entertaining sitcom about a group of 30 somethings. It was easy viewing with a relatively likeable cast. In the final fourth series, one of the main characters was replaced. Richard Coyle was replaced with Richard Mylan, when Coyle quit his role as Jeff at the end of the third season (Coyle was afraid of being type-cast) and Mylan's character, Oliver, felt crowbarred into the show. It didn't feel natural and the fourth season brought around the end of Coupling. After the show died in the UK others took note of its popularity and it got picked up by NBC in the US and ANOSI in Greece - neither of which got more than one series.
