Any child who went to a British public school will remember Ghostwriter. It was shown to school children towell, probably so the teachers could go have a cup of coffee and a cigarette, to be honest. Ghostwriter revolved around a group of friends from Brooklyn who went around solving crimes and mysterious with the aide of an invisible ghost names, well, Ghostwriter. Actually designed to teach reading and writing skills to elementary school students, the show has some genuinely entertaining moments and is underrated as far as '90s children's TV shows are concerned. Keenan and Kel, Sabrina the Teenage Witch and Saved by the Bell all have their places in pop culture history firmly entrenched but Ghostwriter remains little more than a curiosity to most. The show deserves credit for presenting a realistic and racially diverse milieu and trying to teach kids in an entertaining and engaging way. Plus, it has an early role for Samuel L. Jackson as Jamal's Dad. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=wODIc8ohbg4
